What evidence software actually has to do
Track and timestamp the things an inspector will ask to see: care plans, medication records, incident logs, staff training, audits. The software is only as good as the workflow that surrounds it.
England (CQC, Single Assessment Framework)
The 2023 SAF rewrite changed what evidence inspectors look for. Software that claims SAF readiness should be able to map evidence to the four key questions and the new quality statements.
Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland
CIS uses six themes, CIW its own framework, RQIA inspection outcomes. Software with English bias is common; ask about country-specific reporting.
